Fibre to Fabric
We pride ourselves on our continuous association with organic farmers and spinners. Compared to other crops, the flax plant requires no additional irrigation, therefore relying on natural rainwater during production. Our linen is produced in Belgium in a carbon neutral factory, located within a 1km radius from the origin of the flax plant.
Organic linen is pesticide free and produced by protecting the farmers, factory workers and ultimately the end consumer. Our organic linen is soft, breathable and 100% GOTS certified, a worldwide standard recognised for organic fibre.
Continuing our tradition of transparency, we at Oramai incorporate the use of Corozo in our buttons, this 100% natural product from a nut.
Our underlying commitment is to make everlasting collections without compromising on ethics and values. We are proud to be associated with Fashion Revolution’s #WhoMadeMyClothes campaign, which takes into consideration where raw materials are sourced from and who is involved in the production process. Our designs are locally designed in our London studio and produced in a sustainable focused family run factory in Portugal.

Deliveries to most European countries are shipped on a Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) basis, which means you will not have to pay additional fees when your order arrives in your country.
If a Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) destination is selected at checkout taxes and duties will be payable upon your order arriving in your country. This will be noted in the checkout process. For these countries, we are unable to estimate the amount of taxes and duties your order will incur, as these charges are imposed directly by your local customs. Payment of these is necessary to release your order from customs. For more information contact your local customs office.
While delivering sustainable designs to our customers is of utmost importance to us, we recognise that packaging these designs in the most environmentally friendly way is equally paramount to the entire design process. We collaborate with The Better Packaging Co. to ensure our products are packaged sustainably, using suitable raw materials that eventually reduce the environmental footprint. Our compostable shopping bags are made from plants (corn to be exact) and are 100% biodegradable.
