In the center of the piece, you will find a scallop shell. It refers to Saint Jacques, considered the patrons saint of pilgrims. His protective powers reassures travellers, carries them to the end of the world,  reminding them of their roots, no matter where they are.

The designer makes each piece entirely handmade in Limoges porcelain in her atelier in Provence.


This creation requires a particular treatment and must be realised in 3 firings in the respect of the Arts of the Fire in a kiln with high temperature: the 1st firing, «the Dégourdie» 980°, followed by the enamelling and the 2nd firing, «the vitrification» at 1370°C.
